Some truths
cannot be
ignored forever.
Eventually,
they reach
the heart.
Some truths reach us long before we are ready to face them.
In Bhagavad Gita Shloka 1.19, the tremendous sound of the conches echoes through the sky and the earth—and shatters the hearts of Dhritarashtra’s sons.
The sound does more than fill the battlefield.
It reaches something within them that can no longer remain untouched.
And honestly... this happens in our lives too.
Sometimes we hear something we would rather dismiss.
A conversation unsettles us.
A pattern becomes difficult to deny.
A truth reaches us before we are emotionally ready to accept what it reveals.
We may blame the words, the timing or the person who said them.
But often, what disturbs us most is not the message itself—it is what the message has exposed within us.
This shloka reminds us
Truth does not always arrive gently.
Sometimes it reaches the heart by disturbing what can no longer remain hidden.
What unsettles us is not always the message—but the truth it has forced us to feel.
Ask yourself
What truth have you been hearing—but not allowing yourself to truly feel?
Sometimes it is not the message
that disturbs us.
It is what it reveals.
